We laso found a lot of carbage on the lake. That made me sad but it also looked like 
art.
Look how smooth the ice is! It was very alluring but we stayed close to the shore. From further you wouldn't realize it's ice because it looked like calm surface of the water. I love winter!

The Welland Canal is not frozen yet so nobody can go ice fishing which is a disappointment to some people!!
Every winter we see their little tents in the middle of the canal and they make a real holiday of it!!....Love Terry
I think what I will do for Mrs. Mac and for you is to look up some of last years snow pictures and put them on my blog. Jel gets some really nice ones.
Maybe I better not talk too soon though because after all in the Blizzard of 77 we, as a region were down for three days, there was so much snow and that happened in February!!

No ice fishing here either. the ice we got melted already... :(
We also got a lot and lot of snow in the beginnig of November. It snowed so much that even here in Lappeenranta they had to close four schools for one day. That normally never happens here in Finland!!! Well, that joy ended far too quickly. Maybe it will come again before summer... hope so!
